In this video you can enjoy the cab ride on the Belo Horizonte Metro (Brazil) between Eldorado and Vilarinho stations and back in 4K/60 frames per second. Belo Horizonte Metro is a rapid transit system serving the city of Belo Horizonte, in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil. The system has one 28.1-kilometre line which serves 19 stations. The system is operated by Grupo Comporte (Metrô BH). The first section of the metro opened on 1 August 1986 and today they use 35 compositions. The trains are supplied by 3000 V DC overhead wires, and have a commercial speed of 40 km/h with a maximum speed of 80 km/h. Track gauge is 1,600 mm (broad gauge). In September 2023 they signed the contract with Alstom to supply new signalling to enable automatic train operation on the 28.1 km Line 1 between Eldorado and Vilarinho and the future 1.6 km extension to Novo Eldorado.
