The life of a train driver is never boring! This video proves it again. Last weekend, ProRail received so many reports from train drivers about track subsidence on the 's-Hertogenbosch - Geldermalsen route that they decided to impose a speed restriction along most of the line. In this video, you can clearly see how the train sways back and forth. At 15:40, I encounter an E-sign that suggests it applies to all traffic, but is only intended for diverging trains. I reported this to ProRail the next day, and the sign has since been installed a bit further along the branch line. It's great that I contributed to safety! Later, I receive a European Instruction because of another subsidence, this time at Culemborg. At Vaartsche Rijn, a passenger doesn't disembark until the departure procedure has already started; his bicycle gets caught in the door. This causes further delays.
