Gent T2 Melle Leeuw - Evergem Brielken Since January 6, 2024, the trams in Ghent have new routes. This video shows tram T2 from Melle Leeuw to Evergem Brielken. This route partially follows the old lines 2 from Melle to Zuid, 4 from Zuid to Korenmarkt, and 1 from Korenmarkt to Evergem. It is the longest and most diverse tram line in Ghent! Almost every type of tram route, except for going underground, can be found on this line. The tram travels on many dedicated tracks, through the city center, through residential areas as a sort of light rail, and connects the south with the north of the city. It is also the only tram line that does not stop at Sint-Pietersstation. Before the major changes, all tram lines went to this station. Tram type: Siemens Bombardier MGT6 Gen3 (HermeLijn)
